Silent Dialogue: Exhibit 1 Shen Jiawei - Recap

17 December 2021—23 January 2022 Thank you for joining us last Friday to celebrate the opening of Silent Dialogue, commencing with an outdoor exhibit of the works of the acclaimed history painter 沈嘉蔚 / Shen Jiawei. Exhibit Location: Corner Lygon & Little Elgin St, Carlton Exhibit Dates: 17 December 2021—23 January 2022 We toured Shen's outdoor exhibit together and listened to Impressions / 印象 2020 by 陳雋然 / Chun Yin Rainbow Chan, installed in the laneway for one night. Afterwards, Global & Planetary Health Justice Expert 羅南芝 / Dr Selina Lo shared her perspectives on Shen's art and the socio-cultural context within which we find ourselves. Then, we enjoyed a celebratory drink at Heart Attack and Vine Bar where Nathen and the team made us all feel so welcome! Thank you Selina and Nathen!   Attendees were given preview access to an interview with the artist, which is now accessible via the button below. If pre-holidays travel jitters and the new COVID-19 strain kept you away on Friday evening, please pop along another time to see the exhibit. It is open 24/7.
