Thank you, Arts Merri-Bek, plans for January & more
That’s it, friends! We’re closed now until Saturday, 14 January 2023, when we reopen with our second exhibition in connection with our correspondences Colleagues program. 'Can we talk about this?' is curated by Amanda Chamsay and features the works of writer, artist and photographer Sarah Walker and multidisciplinary artist, composer, and writer Amy McNickle. We’d love you to join us to celebrate the exhibition’s opening (details below). We’re also overjoyed and grateful today to announce that Arts Merri-Bek of Merri-Bek City Council has awarded us a Flourish: Arts Recovery Grant to assist us with delivering our 2023 Creative Program. We'll be back in touch in the new year to tell you about our plans. We're excited, and we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to Arts Merri-Bek!
In 2023, we are also excited to be rolling out correspondences Stage, our venue hire service. It’s another way we get to know our communities while funding our running and the work we do. Find out more below.
In closing, we are thinking of the people of Ukraine during this festive period, who are faced with ongoing hardship and a bitterly cold winter.
We’ve decided to contribute to World Food Kitchen. To find out more about their work and how to support them, press the button below.
Closer to home, the important work of the Indigenous Literacy Foundation continues if you’re looking for another inspiring organisation to get behind.
Thank you again for the love, support and care for what we have been doing since opening our doors. Wishing you and yours a safe and happy new year.
Warmly correspondences Studio
