Welcome

to correspondences. Our aim is to create lasting people connections across cultures through the medium of art.

Join us online. We're here.

In light of the emerging circumstances surrounding COVID-19, our aim is for the exhibition and related programming to open to the public in April 2021. For the latest news on our project, refer here.

We have temporarily closed our ticketing system for event sales whilst we re-conceptualise and re-plan our efforts. However, our system will remain open for pre-sales of our book.

The publication of our book will continue as planned, with a new delivery timeframe this calendar year to be communicated in the coming weeks as and when we have resolved a way forward with partners.

Our aim is to also continue with the production of our interview documentary and soundscape. Again, we will keep you posted.

Meanwhile, we will be progressively rolling out a regular programme of digital content.

To support our project and its contributors through this transition period, please refer below or email at info@correspondences.work.

Sunday reading

Every second Sunday, we will be releasing our Succour for the Spirit newsletter featuring one of our contributors in conversation with our curators about nature, food and art. We will also be talking about one of our contributor's much loved works - be it a painting, photograph, song, poem or book - along with what they are working on right now and next, so we can all share the news and support if we can.

Mini profile videos

Once a month or so, we will be releasing our mini profile vids. You have heard about our book and its designer Carolyn Ang (video at left) and our other incredible women and GNC creatives.

We want our writers to tell you more about what they are working on for Silent Dialogue. We also want to keep you in the loop with our Interview Documentary, our social media project and related street poster exhibition (#SilentDialoguer) and our soundscape.

In between newsletters, we will be re-posting sound medicine on Soundcloud - along with comments. Sometimes just an elated "Love this". At other times, it might be something more substantial to check out and if so, we will comment in Soundcloud and share via Facebook or Instagram stories. We will also be sharing little tidbits from our contributors on nature, art and food via social media from time to time.

Share the love and tag us!

Month-end dance-off

At the end of the month for the next three months, we will be hosting a live five minute dance off via Houseparty. We will be selecting one song and invite you to dance hard with us. Our first song will be Pharrell Williams' Happy. For inspiration, refer here. First session Tuesday 31/3 at 8pm. Grab the free app and join the party. 8 people per virtual room but there will be several rooms cracking for 5 mins!
