What do I do?
Download Houseparty on your phone or tablet - we recommend one per household. The app restricts each “house” to 8.
Contact friends and invite them to join the app (“+” button in top right corner of the app).
Select a “Household DJ” who will launch the app and cue the music for the household.
Just before 8pm, the Household DJ jumps in the house (“Here” will appear against their name).
The Household DJ, can then press the waving hand icon next to your friends names to give them a whistle to join the party.
Your friends can then press “Join” against your Household DJ'sname. If you have 8 houses, pre-select one Household DJ to join.
At 8pm, cue music and dance hard til the song ends!
If your household members are all in the house and you want a bit of variety, jump into another friend's house for a shimmy!
PS
If you want a memento, hit the three dots on the base of the main menu page (left-hand side) of the app and record a "Facemail" or a screen recording via “Share screen”. If you're not shy, share and tag us at the below!
