Come socialise with us!
We're thrilled this month to be hosting two amazing events in connection with Ali McCann’s residency project, Campus: A study of educational, domestic, and deep dark space (In perpetual flux), 2022. On Saturday, 19 November, at 2 pm, join Ali, artistic physicist Raghda Abdel Khaleq and correspondences’ Emma Thomson for a conversation on the fascinating interconnecting worlds of art and science. On Wednesday, 23 November, at 6:30 pm, join us for Ali’s live performance, ‘Social’, featuring a soundscape by esteemed musician, composer and sound artist Mat Watson. We know it’s a school night, but we think that’s apt. If you're a kid of the 80s and you remember dancing the night away at your school social, you'll understand why. We are also excited this month to introduce you to Miffy Lau and Amanda Chamsay, our first two ‘correspondences Colleagues’, who will be presenting their exhibitions in November and December, respectively. For more information, read on. In closing, we’re delighted to add two new works to our ‘correspondences Editions’ platform, a curated, print-on-demand catalogue of fine art prints by our residents and other artists with whom we collaborate. Ali is also offering her two framed exhibition works for sale, Foyer (After Maar and Matter) & Reclining figure on Rubin Ridge, from the Campus 2022 series. For a catalogue copy, please reach out via the button below. At the end of Ali's residency on 26/11, the framed exhibition works will be offered for lease via our ‘correspondences Cares' platform (unless sold prior). Find out more about both platforms below.
We hope to see you soon!
