Join us for Spring! It is hard to believe that it is Spring, and we are approaching the final days of Edwina Stevens’ exhibition Moonee Moonee Underpass 2020, which closes tomorrow, Saturday, 27 August.
Thank you, Eddie, for sharing your beautiful work. Having our space filled with your unique vision and sounds has been a joy.
Last Saturday, 20 August, we took a wander along the Moonee Moonee creek trail with Eddie to experience the places where she walked and recorded her images and sounds for the artwork.
Check out the Blog post featuring a few pics of our walking group and information on the path we took via the button below.
We’re excited this month to be opening a new exhibit by our next artist in residence, Ali McCann, who will be presenting her project Campus (Dark Matter), 2022.
We’d love you to join us for Ali’s opening event on Thursday, 8 September.
Our events for the month ahead are accessible online on our Events page. Some exciting new announcements to also follow!

Upcoming projects/exhibitionsFrom 6 September until 26 November 2022, resident artist Ali McCann will present the first instalment of her three-month research project on-site, Campus (Dark Matter), 2022.
Comprising new photographic and video works, found images and objects, the project continues Ali's longstanding inquiry into the constructed nature of photography and the possibilities of creating alternate visual and psychological realities.
At the centre is a fascinating examination of the theme of nostalgia and the art of 'autotopography', a term invented by historian Jennifer A. Gonzalez which describes the action of utilising objects to map the "self".
As her residency continues, Ali will create new works that extend her inquiries and expand the mode of her artistic field to encompass moving image, sound, sculpture, and performance, culminating in a special event to be presented in November.
