Thank you for picnicking with us! Plus, studio break & save the date for our May celebration. Friends, what a beautiful morning we had last Sunday at our Friends & Family Picnic with Haiku Reading, Writing & Drawing!
Our heartfelt thank you for adapting with us to the Waring/Aki/Autumn weather and joyously joining in our freewheeling, cross-generational format here in the gallery. Your presence and enthusiasm made it special. Some more images and words of thanks are to follow.
In the meantime, next month is the final month of Yoko’s residency with us. The month of May will be a month for celebration and reflection.
We’d like to invite you to a special event on the evening of Friday, 12 May, to celebrate Yoko’s final exhibit and to listen to our special guest speaker, writer, poet and essayist, Declan Fry. Find out more below!
During the month, we invite you to join us for tea. As usual, we’ll be serving our lovely Marukyu Koyamaen from Kyoto. Learn more about our hospitality service here. School, work or community groups are welcome anytime, especially on Wednesday, 17 May, when we have our next monthly Open House - May Yoko Ozawa. Email info@correspondences.work if you’re interested.
And, of course, if a Thursday/Friday evening visit is more your speed, please pop in for correspondences After Dark - May. In the meantime, we are taking a small break from Wednesday, 26 April, for a week, returning Wednesday, 3 May.
Warmly correspondences Studio
