Art Walk - September

Every month, we run an 'Art Walk' and invite our audiences to join us for a visit to see another creative space, art exhibition, or display - inside or outside.  This month, join us for another walk along Sydney Road to discover two exhibitions at the Counihan gallery.

Curated by Kim Kruger, Savanna Kruger and Lisa Hilli, Sydney Road Blaks features works by Aboriginal, South Sea and Pacific Islander artists, including Paola Balla, Daniel Boyd, Destiny Deacon, Lisa Hilli, Kim Kruger, Savanna Kruger, Mandy Nicholson, Sofii Belling-Harding and Stacie Piper.

Curated by Anna Dunnill, A Plant in the Wrong Place features works by Anna Dunnill, Jenna Lee (Larrakia, Wardaman and Karajarri), Rebecca Mayo, Lisa Myeong-Joo, Caroline Rothwell, Tai Snaith and Katie West (Yindjibarndi).

Afterwards, we'll wander back to No.39 Sydney Road correspondences for a cuppa and a chat. We'll also spend some time looking at the work of our new resident artist Ali McCann, which will be on display.

Plan/meeting location:
—Start Counihan Gallery 233 Sydney Road (inside Brunswick Town Hall), Brunswick @11:00am
—End correspondences No.39 Sydney Road, Brunswick @12:30/1:00pm.
